Introducing..... (finally)

It's about time this little one becomes "blog-fficial."  Earlier this year, we welcomed baby number 4 into the mix.  Abigail Brianne.  She came right at end end of the year's run of the Easter Pageant.  She came on the afternoon before the final performance.  Daddy and Mommy went to the hospital after Daddy called the second-to-the-last show.  After she was born and Mommy settled into her recovery room, Daddy went and called the last show.  He did leave the strike night festivities in the very capable hands of his crew members.

One of her first poses

Special thanks to Elise Millett for this photo shoot.  Elise is amazing.
She is our Abby.

From her first day to this, she has been our happy child.  She only fusses when she needs something.

Abby had her turn in the cow outfit this Halloween.  Each child has been in that outfit for Halloween.  Very cool.

This was Baby's first snow trip.  The snow was falling in this picture and she was laughing to beat the band.  She loved it!

She takes her dancing very seriously

Even though is was well above 90 degrees, she rocked her Snow Princess costume for Halloween.

Loves trying new things with her hair

She can be a clown

 Loves her brothers

She is a great student

She is a natural beauty

Graduated Kindergarten

She lost 3 teeth in a month

Loves playing with her friends

It has been fun watching Alana transform from a sweet baby, to a toddler with attitude, to a cute little pre-schooler, and now a beautiful young lady.  We can always count on Alana for a smile and a hug.  She has a rock solid faith and a desire to make people happy.  We love our Alana!

A Year in Review...Briggy

There is a lot to say about this kid.  He is an active, fun-loving little boy.  He is also very good at thinking things through.  Since he just recently turned 4, we have moved out of the treacherous three's.  He is becoming a child that is helpful, thoughtful, loving, grateful, and a joy to be with.  Enjoy the many faces of Briggy.

He is a natural protector.  He is extremely conscientiousness of the welfare of his brother and sister.

From the first smile until today, his face can lighten any dark day

He is the adventurous one.  He would be perfectly content running around in the forest all day.

 Showing muscles!!

 Love that smile!

Though he can be a ham sometimes

Let's not forget the constant injuries from the adventures

One of the many faces of Briggy

 In paradise

 ALWAYS on the move

 Our resident monkey

Willing and able to help anyone do anything

We gave Brigham an appropriate name.  His namesake, Brigham Young, was dubbed "The Lion of the Lord."  I think Briggy is a lot like a lion as well.  He is a natural protector.  He sticks up for things he knows is right.  He is passionate about everything he does.  He takes pride in things that he does.  He is not afraid to let his opinion be known.  With all of that intensity, he is also the sweetest, kindest little boy.  We love our Briggy!

Year in Review...Hy-Joe

Since we are trying to get back on the blogging bandwagon, we thought we'd update on each person individually.  Today is Hyrum, or as he is otherwise known, Hy-Hy or Hy-Joe.  This little guy went from being one and barely walking to just recently turning two and destroying everything in his path.  He is a sweet kid with a fun-loving personality.

Riding the rails on the Polar Express

Not a huge fan of snow

Loves getting rides

Halloween 2011

A budding intellectual

This kids loves being outside and/or in the dirt

His scream can peel paint off of walls

His smile is contagious

Is the only kid not to call Julie "Mama" rather "Monny"

He may or may not get in trouble often, usually, all the time, daily

When Julie was pregnant with our third child, we were both so sure it was a girl.  Dustin was almost in denial when the ultrasound proved us wrong.  Looking back, this Daddy was never so glad to be proven wrong.  Love us some Hy-Joe.
